What God has Done

 Much of what prevents us from hearing God is what is going on in our hearts. In varying degrees we all harbor fear, anger, and unforgiveness. That causes strife between us. These are things we cannot remove on our own. That is why Christ came. The Bible says “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8. Since God raised Christ from the dead there is forgiveness for those who accept Him. Once Christ lives in our hearts He can start replacing those things we harbor with love, joy, peace, and other good things. Because of that we are able to hear Him more clearly speaking to our hearts.
