What You can Do

God is waiting for your permission to have a closer relationship with Him

Jesus said “My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal Life, and they shall never perish.”

John 10:27

Those who have acknowledged what Jesus did for them and accepted him into their heart will know his voice. To have our sins forgiven and start our walk with Christ, all we need to do is ask.

For by grace you have been saved through faith; and not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Ephesians 2:8

So, what do we do if we want to draw close to God and hear His voice? Every good thing that we have came from God, we have nothing within ourselves to offer. Accept His free gift of reconciliation by acknowledging the forgiveness of our sins by Jesus dying on the cross. God was faithful to raise Him from the dead. God will also be faithful to raise us who trust in Jesus.

Jesus said “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come and eat with that person, and they with me.”

Revelation 3:20

All we need to do is ask in prayer. He is listening.

Lord, I know that I am a sinner, but I thank You for Your Son, Jesus, who died on the cross for my sin and rose on the third day so that my sins could be forgiven and I can be with You forever. Thank You for loving me. I am ready to follow You and give my life to You. Please help me along the way and allow me to know You better each day. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
